Oh, Great Faith Walkers!

Artpiece1You great Faith walkers:

  • those of you walking when you can’t see where on Earth you are going, but you keep on going the way God has told you to go;
  • you who believe what God told you would happen to you even though you can’t see  how you’ll get there from here, you still believe He is going to do it;
  • Walkers by faith and not by sight;
  • Believers no matter what;

…the year is drawing to a close and just like I said early 2015, that this year would go so fast that in 2016 we’ll ask if there was a 2015. Now the Lord is saying that 2016 will be full of eventful forward motion. Buckle your seat belts, hold on, all hands inside the ride ‘children’! The Holy Spirit says “It’s going to be amazing & fast”.

I read this in a devotional today, the idea that we are ‘jars of clay’ set apart for sacred use. Imagine this! We are sacred vessels, all of us humans. No wonder we are attacked by evil. No surprise that we are hard pressed on every side. Take your rightful position; first of all in your own mind and recognize who you are, a ‘jar of clay’ set aside for sacred use by the Lord God Almighty. Don’t let your identity be stolen. As Christ, the Anointed One is in this world, so are you.

The devotional went on to allude to the fact that the Peace of God lives completely and continually in my spirit. As I continue to walk with Him,  this peace will continually permeate its way in and through my entire being – into my soul and showing up revealed in my flesh. All this before Heaven people!!!

Amazing! An amazing life you have – I have. Forward motion. Let’s march 4th! Onward!

“Jesus Calling”, by Sarah Young

2 Corinthians 4:7-11  (Message Bible)

7-12 If you only look at us, you might well miss the brightness. We carry this precious Message around in the unadorned clay pots of our ordinary lives. That’s to prevent anyone from confusing God’s incomparable power with us. As it is, there’s not much chance of that. You know for yourselves that we’re not much to look at. We’ve been surrounded and battered by troubles, but we’re not demoralized; we’re not sure what to do, but we know that God knows what to do; we’ve been spiritually terrorized, but God hasn’t left our side; we’ve been thrown down, but we haven’t broken. What they did to Jesus, they do to us—trial and torture, mockery and murder; what Jesus did among them, he does in us—he lives! Our lives are at constant risk for Jesus’ sake, which makes Jesus’ life all the more evident in us. While we’re going through the worst, you’re getting in on the best!

1 John 4:17 (KJV)

17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
